What has Blond to say about those most conservative of institutions, the trade unions? At the moment unions are trying to defend their members from attacks on terms and conditions - from being impoverished, in other words. Rather than set these tightly-regulated institutions free, the Tories want to keep unions shackled by the law - and thus keep low earners trapped in poverty.</description>
