Highly recommended, by the way, is Robert Reich – he’s got a blog, robertreich.blogspot.com , and it’s also worth getting a copy of ‘Locked in the Cabinet’, which is his very entertaining book about his time as Clinton’s Secretary of Labor. It’s particularly good on the challenges which face us in turning policies into practice, and his ideas on political economy is also well written and interesting (though coming from a slightly different perspective to us).

Writer’s block. Yes. That just about does sum it up. I can’t get up the enthusiasm to get angry about anything. I feel manipulated on all sides and unwilling to play the same game. I’d rather go into my virtual shed at the bottom of my virtual garden and fiddle about with Linux, memory goods and new mobile browsers. I feel terrible about it too – as if I’m abandoning a cause at precisely the wrong time. But not terrible enough about it as yet to do anything constructive to resolve my dilemma.

Hello there!

Yeah, it’s been a bit draining, with all this talk of Duck Houses I’m beginning to forget what Politics is really about. I’m looking forward to the Monsterpost, it sounds as though it’ll be right down my alley. The Labout/Capital relationship is shockingly under-discussed given its prominence in how the world works.

I’ve been planning my own series of posts on a similar topic for weeks and months, “Where did it all go wrong?” But the more you do, the more you realise you haven’t covered! Good luck!
